♦ Of the 464,697 Pasco residents, 50,239 are U.S. Military veterans; we also know being a veteran correlates with high incidences of mental illness/substance abuse and suicide.
♦ According to NAMI, “1 in 4 people experiences mental illness in a year.” And of course their families are deeply affected too.
♦ This translates to mean approximately 116,172 or 25% of Pasco County residents could stand to benefit annually from our supports.
